A Worshiper Journal

I am so thankful to have been surrounded by music all my life, it has had an incredible influence on me, and has been drawing me into the call God has put on my life. I started studying piano and voice when I was eight years old.

When I was younger I started a song journal, where I wrote many simple melodies and dreamed of one day sharing them with the world.

So many dreams, and yet not understanding that it was God’s plan for my life all along. It wasn’t until I met Jesus Christ that I finally started to know myself, as He created me, and understand the power of the music that was so deep inside my heart as a young girl.

At the age of sixteen I committed my life to my Savior Jesus Christ. From that moment His plans for my life began to unfold. I am truly overwhelmed with His goodness, and His love. Jesus is my best friend and the lifter of my head. Along my journey I have had to face many internal struggles, and have had many lessons to learn, but most importantly I have began to understand, and value the power of becoming someone who is committed to praising God at all times, no matter the circumstances, and my passion to worship God is unquenchable, except by Him.

The scripture that stands out to me at this moment in my life is found in Psalm 73:25-26. “Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
